#PitchPerfect: Create a Clear, Concise and Convincing Elevator Pitch for the Insurance Industry and Your Agency

What does an independent agent do and why should I care? Can you answer that question at a moment’s notice clearly, concisely and convincingly? Attracting new talent is one of the greatest challenges facing the insurance industry, and to successfully recruit, you need to be able to convey your purpose and mission in a flash.

An “Elevator Pitch” is often talked about in relation to filmmakers, writers or entrepreneurs. If you were a screenwriter and needed to pitch a producer, you would have to sell your story, passion and potential for success in the same breath. The same is true of a recruiter.

For the ELITExas #PitchPerfect project, you’ll work as groups to develop and deliver a brief and compelling elevator pitch that excites prospects to learn more about the insurance industry and your agency. At the end of the day, each groups will have three minutes to deliver their perfect pitch to an insurance prospect.
