CA 00 25 - Auto Dealers Coverage Form

CA 01 21 - Limited Mexico Coverage

Affords coverage, at no charge, for incidental trips into Mexico, within 25 miles of the border and no more than 10 days at a time. See Business Auto technical report Mexico Coverage Endorsements.

CA 01 97 - Texas Changes

Required on all policies, this endorsement amends the policy to comply with statutory provisions, including prompt payment of claims.

CA 01 98 - Texas Changes - Mexico Tourist Coverage - Limited

Extends the policy territorial limits to include Mexico, if the insured has purchased Mexican insurance and suit is brought in the USA. See Business Auto technical report Mexico Coverage Endorsements.

CA 01 99 - Texas Changes - Mexico Coverage - Broad

Affords coverage for a charge, for trips into Mexico of unlimited duration, within 25 miles of the border. See Business Auto technical report Mexico Coverage Endorsements

CA 02 38 - Reinstatement of Insurance

Reinstates coverage previously suspended with CA 02 40.

CA 02 40 - Suspension of Insurance

Suspends coverage under the policy and allows for a refund if the suspension is at least 30 days.

CA 02 43 - Texas Changes - Cancellation and Nonrenewal

Amends the cancellation provision in Common Policy Conditions to comply with statutory requirements.

CA 03 01 - Deductible Liability Insurance

Provides for deductible on liability coverage.

CA 03 03 – 500 Dollar Deductible for Work You Performed Does Not Apply

Removes the $500 deductible for claims arising out of completed operations in the general liability section.

CA 04 01 - Texas Stated Amount Insurance

Changes the Limit of Insurance provision in the physical damage section to limit the amount of insurance for total loss on specified vehicles to a stated amount.  When this endorsement is attached, the amount payable is the lesser of actual cash value or the stated amount.  See Business Auto technical report Valuation of Auto Losses.

CA 04 18 - Texas Increased Limits - Other Than Designated Driver

This endorsement increases the liability limits on the Declarations while the auto is operated by any insured other than the individual designated on the endorsement. 

CA 04 42 – Exclusion of Federal Employees Using Autos in Government Business

Excludes from coverage the U.S. Government or any other insured subject to the federal Tort Claims Act.

CA 04 44 – Waiver of Transfer of Rights of Recovery Against Others to Us (Waiver of Subrogation)

The insurer agrees to waive its right of subrogation against a designated person or organization.  

CA 20 01 - Additional Insured and Loss Payee

Provides for loss payable clause and cancellation notification to the owner (lessor) of a leased auto specified on the policy. Covers the owner (lessor) as an insured.  Coverage ceases when the lessor takes possession of the auto.  Additional premium required. 

CA 20 17 - Mobile Homes Contents Not Covered

Excludes physical damage coverage on the contents of a mobile home or trailer, as defined in the endorsement. See endorsement CA 20 81 to provide coverage on mobile home contents.

CA 20 21 - Snowmobiles

Adds snowmobiles described in the schedule as covered autos, subject to additional exclusions.

CA 20 27 - Registration Plates Not Issued For A Specific Auto

Applies covered auto status to any auto using registration plates described on the endorsement.

CA 20 33 - Autos Leased, Hired, Rented or Borrowed with Drivers - Physical Damage Coverage

Provides physical damage coverage on autos hired with a driver.  

CA 20 47 - Additional Insured - General Liability Coverages - Lessor of Leased Equipment

Adds the owner of leased equipment as an additional insured.

CA 20 48 - Designated Insured for Covered Autos Liability Coverage

Designates a person or entity listed in the endorsement as an insured, but only to the extent that person or entity already qualifies as an insured in the Who Is An Insured provision.  See CA 20 01 to cover a lessor as an additional insured.

CA 20 49 – Additional Insured – General Liability Coverages – Grantor of Franchise

Adds franchisor as an additional insured in the general liability section of Who is an Insured.

CA 20 54 - Employee Hired Autos

Adds an employee as an additional insured while operating an auto hired or rented in the employee’s name while on the named insured’s business.  When hired auto physical damage coverage is provided, coverage is provided on the hired or rented auto on a primary basis.

CA 20 55 - Fellow Employee Coverage

Deletes the Fellow Employee exclusion in the covered autos liability section.  See the Workers Compensation technical report Injuring Fellow Employees.

CA 20 56 - Fellow Employee Coverage for Designated Employees/Positions

Deletes the Fellow Employee exclusion in the liability section, but only with respect to designated employees, positions or titles listed in the endorsement. The best use of this endorsement may be to cover executive officers for injury to fellow employees. See the Workers Compensation technical report Injuring Fellow Employees.

CA 20 70 - Coverage for Certain Operations in Connection with Railroads

Deletes the railroad exclusions in the definition of Insured Contracts, as respects operations at a designated job site for a designated railroad.

CA 20 71 - Auto Loan/Lease Gap Coverage

Pays the difference between the actual cash value of an auto and the balance due on a loan or lease, in the event of total loss of the auto.

CA 20 81 - Texas Mobile Homes Contents Coverage

Provides coverage on mobile home contents, as defined in the endorsement.

CA 21 09 - Texas Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists Insurance

Adds Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage to the policy.  Must be attached unless rejected in writing. See Business Auto technical report PIP and UM/UIM.

CA 22 64 - Texas Personal Injury Protection Endorsement

Adds Personal Injury Protection coverage to the policy. Must be attached unless rejected in writing. See Business Auto technical report PIP and UM/UIM.

CA 23 25 - Coverage For Injury To Leased Workers

Amends the definition of employee to delete leased workers from the definition, with respect to the employers' liability exclusion.

CA 23 36 - Texas Form F1 - Uniform Commercial Motor Vehicle BI and PD Liability Insurance Endorsement

This endorsement is required for truckers certified to operate by the Texas Department of Transportation. It certifies that the policy will conform to the coverage and limits required by law.  

CA 23 84 - Exclusion of Terrorism

Excludes all losses arising out of acts of terrorism. The federal Terrorism Risk Insurance Act does not apply to commercial automobile insurance. 

CA 23 85 - Exclusion of Terrorism Involving Nuclear, Biological or Chemical Terrorism

Excludes all losses arising out of acts of terrorism involving nuclear, biological or chemical weapons. The federal Terrorism Risk Insurance Act does not apply to commercial automobile insurance.

CA 23 94 - Exclusion of Silica Or Silica-Related Dust Exclusion For Covered Autos Exposure

Excludes BI or PD arising out of silica or silica-related dust, as defined in the form.

CA 23 97 – Amphibious Vehicles

Excludes all losses arising out of acts of terrorism involving nuclear, biological or chemical weapons. The federal Terrorism Risk Insurance Act does not apply to commercial automobile insurance.

CA 25 01 - Broad Form Products Coverage

Deletes the Defective Products exclusion from the General Liability section, subject to a $500 deductible, providing coverage for damage to the insured's product.

CA 25 02 - Dealers Driveaway Collision Coverage

Deletes the physical damage exclusion for vehicles driven or transported beyond 50 road miles. The insured must include driveaways in the monthly or quarterly report.

CA 25 03 - False Pretense Coverage

Deletes the auto physical damage false pretense exclusion. Coverage applies to such “theft” by employees, as well as members of the public. The maximum amount payable for all loss caused by one person during the policy period is $25,000 unless a higher limit is specified for an additional premium.

CA 25 04 - Fire, Fire and Theft and Limited Specified Causes of Loss Coverage For Dealers

Provides a schedule of options to cover dealers’ autos for specific causes of loss. The Limited Specified Causes of Loss option does not cover vandalism. See also endorsement CA 99 14 (Fire, Fire and Theft, Fire, theft and Windstorm and Limited Specified Causes of Loss Coverage) below.

CA 25 07 - Locations and Operations Not Covered

Excludes locations or operations described on the endorsement.

CA 25 09 - Additional Insured - General Liability Coverages - Owners of Leased or Rented Land or Premises

Covers the insured’s landlord as an additional insured.

CA 25 11 - Named Driver Collision Coverage

If the dealer does not wish to carry collision coverage on all autos, this endorsement can be used to limit collision coverage to autos operated or occupied by named individuals, subject to a selected deductible. Coverage does not apply beyond 50 road miles between origination and destination.

CA 25 15 - Full Covered Autos Liability Limit for Customers

Deletes the provision in the Who Is An Insured section that excludes liability coverage for customers while driving covered autos.

CA 25 29 - Additional Insured - General Liability Coverages - Concessionaires Trading Under Your Name

Adds a concessionaire as an additional insured, with respect to their liability while trading under the named insured's name.

CA 25 30 - Additional Insured - General Liability Coverages - Controlling Interest

Adds an entity having financial control of the insured as an additional insured.

CA 25 31 - Additional Insured - General Liability Coverages - Grantor of Licenses - Automatic Status When Required by Licensor

Automatically adds an entity having a license with the insured as an additional insured, when the grantor requires additional insured status by contract.

CA 25 32 - Additional Insured - General Liability Coverages - Grantor of Licenses

Adds an entity having a license with the insured as an additional insured.

CA 25 37 - Fungi or Bacteria Exclusion - General Liability Coverages

Excludes premises liability arising out of fungi or bacteria (mold).

CA 25 38 - Limited Fungi or Bacteria Coverage for General Liability Coverages

Provides coverage with a separate limit of liability for premises liability arising out of fungi or bacteria (mold).

CA 25 39 - Silica Or Silica-Related Dust Exclusion For General Liability Coverages

Excludes premises liability for bodily injury caused by silica.

CA 25 45 - Additional Insured - General Liability Coverages - Lessor of Leased Equipment - Automatic Status When Required in Lease Agreement With You

Automatically adds lessor of leased equipment as an additional insured, when such status is required by written contract.

CA 25 46 - Additional Insured - General Liability Coverages - Co-Owner of Insured Premises

Adds premises co-owner as an additional insured.

CA 25 47 - Limited Contractual Liability Coverage for Personal and Advertising Injury

Adds an exception to the contractual liability exclusion in the Personal and Advertising Injury liability section to cover liability assumed in a contract designated in the endorsement.

CA 25 48 - Employee Benefits Liability Coverage

Adds coverage for an insured's acts, errors or omissions arising out of the administration of an employee benefits program on a claims-made basis. Endorsement CA 25 67 provides for an extended reporting period.

CA 25 49 - Limited Product Withdrawal Expense Endorsement

Provides reimbursement for expenses incurred because of a product withdrawal with respect to a recall or tampering.

CA 25 50 - Exclusion - Damage to Rented Premises

Removes coverage provided in the General Liability Coverages section for damage to rented premises.

CA 25 51 - Exclusion - Designated Products

Excludes products liability coverage with respect to a product shown in the endorsement.

CA 25 52 - Exclusion - Locations and Operations Medical Payments

Eliminates medical payments coverage from the General Liability Coverages section.

CA 25 53 - Exclusion - Newly Acquired or Formed Auto Dealership

Eliminates the automatic coverage for a newly acquired or formed auto dealership in the Who Is An Insured section.

CA 25 54 - Exclusion - Personal and Advertising Injury Liability Coverage

Eliminates the Personal and Advertising Injury Liability coverage.

CA 25 55 - Exclusion - Products and Work You Performed

Deletes products and completed operations liability coverage in the General Liability Coverages section.

CA 25 56 - Exclusion - Designated Work You Performed

Deletes completed operations liability with respect to specific work designated in the endorsement.

CA 25 58 - Amendment of Limits of Insurance - General Liability Coverages

Used to change the limits of insurance shown in the Declarations after the policy effective date.

CA 25 59 - Designated Location(s) General Liability Aggregate Limit for Certain General Liability Coverages

Changes the general liability aggregate limit to apply per location.

CA 25 60 - Worldwide General Liability Coverages

Expands the limited worldwide coverage to cover other claims brought outside the standard coverage territory.

CA 25 61 - Expanded Coverage Territory for General Liability Coverages - Additional Scheduled Countries

Expands the limited worldwide coverage to cover claims brought within a country designated in the endorsement.

CA 25 62 - Changes to the Bankruptcy or Insolvency Exclusion for Acts, Errors or Omissions Liability Coverages

Eliminates the exclusion related to bankruptcy or insolvency of an insurance company used by a dealership to place insurance on behalf of its customers.

CA 25 63 - Exclusion - Acts, Errors or Omissions Liability Coverage

Deletes the Acts, Errors or Omissions Liability Coverage section.

CA 25 64 - Exclusion of Specified Acts, Errors or Omissions Liability Coverages

Deletes coverage for one or more of the covered acts specified in the definition of Act, Error or Omission.

CA 25 65 - Total Bankruptcy or Insolvency Exclusion for Acts, Errors or Omissions Liability Coverages

Removes the Best-rating exception to the exclusion related to bankruptcy or insolvency of an insurance company used by a dealership to place insurance on behalf of its customers.

CA 25 66 - Customer Complaint Legal Defense Coverage

Adds coverage for legal expenses to defend the insured against a customer complaint.

CA 25 67 - Extended Reporting Period Endorsement for Employee Benefits Liability Coverage

Provides an extended reporting period for Employee Benefits Liability Coverage when coverage has been added by endorsement CA 25 48.

CA 25 76 - Texas Abuse or Molestation Exclusion for General Liability Coverage

Adds an exclusion for abuse or molestation.

CA 31 25 - Texas Split Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists Coverage Limits

Provides for split limits (rather than a single limit) for UM/UIM coverage.

CA 99 03 - Auto Medical Payments Insurance

Adds medical payments coverage for covered autos designated by Symbol.  

CA 99 05 - Business Interruption Coverage

Adds business income and extra expense coverage for loss arising out of damage to autos scheduled in the endorsement, with options for a separate limit of insurance on each scheduled item or a single limit for all scheduled items. CA 99 10 - Drive Other Car Coverage - Broadened Coverage for Named Individuals

Affords coverage to a named individual (and spouse) for the operation of non-owned autos they may drive for personal use. See Business Auto technical report Drive Other Car and UM/UIM.

CA 99 14 - Fire, Fire and Theft, Fire, Theft and Windstorm and Limited Specified Causes of Loss Coverage

Coverage for these limited named perils can be scheduled.

CA 99 16 - Hired Autos Specified as Covered Autos You Own

Provides primary insurance for a hired auto, and adds the lessor as an additional insured. See also CA 20 01.

CA 99 18 – Individual Named Insured – Dealers Only

Adds the spouse as an additional insured when an individual is the named insured.

CA 99 23 - Rental Reimbursement Coverage

Provides reimbursement of rental expenses following any covered loss to a covered auto. Limits are selected by the insured.

CA 99 30 - Tapes, Records and Discs Coverage

Affords $200 coverage for tapes, records and discs under Comprehensive coverage.

CA 99 40 - Exclusion or Excess Coverage Hazards Otherwise Insured

Excludes liability coverage for designated autos that are otherwise insured by virtue of the selected coverage symbol.

CA 99 44 - Loss Payable Clause

Adds provision that physical damage loss will be paid to the insured and to the loss payee specified in the endorsement.  The insurer is not obligated to pay the loss payee if the loss results from conversion, secretion or embezzlement by the named insured.  The insurer is obligated under this endorsement to send advance notice of cancellation to the loss payee. 

CA 99 47 - Employee as Lessor

Provides liability coverage for a described auto leased to the named insured by an employee and includes the employee as an insured. See discussion on employees as insureds in the Who Is An Insured section.

CA 99 54 - Covered Auto Designation Symbol

Permits the use of additional covered auto symbols as may be agreed upon for special needs. See discussion in Covered Autos Defined.

CA 99 55 – Pollution Liability – Broadened Coverage for Covered Autos – Auto Dealers Coverage Form

Deletes a portion of the pollution exclusion for autos carrying pollutants.

CA 99 59 -- Garagekeepers Coverage - Customers' Sound Receiving Equipment

Affords coverage for 2-way radios, CB radios and telephones permanently installed in autos in the care of the insured while attending, servicing, repairing, parking or storing the autos in the insured’s dealer operations.

CA 99 60 – Audio, Visual and Data Electronic Equipment Coverage Added Limits

Increases the $1,000 sub-limit of liability on certain electronic equipment by the additional amount specified in the endorsement.

CA 99 61 - Loss Payable Clause - Audio, Visual and Data Electronic Equipment Coverage Added Limits

Adds a designated loss payee on electronic equipment and increases the $1,000 sub-limit of liability on the equipment.

CA 99 90 - Optional Limits - Loss of Use Expenses

Provides higher limits on the auto physical damage coverage extension for loss of use on hired auto physical damage.
