How to get started

  • IIAT handles the enrollment process. Documents needed:
    • IIC appointment application
    • Copy of agency license
    • Copy of agency E&O dec page – ($1,000,000. minimum limit)
    • EFT direct commission form
    • IRS W-9 form

What you need to know


  • Completed submissions should be emailed or faxed to Insurors Indemnity,, or fax to underwriting at 254.755.6399
  • Completed submissions include ACORD application and any loss information

Binding/Policy Issuing

  • Information on ACORD application and on the binder request will be used to issue the policy. Provide correct information at the time you request binding.
  • Named insured – correct name exactly as it should appear on the policy. Must provide the type of entity; i.e. Individual, Partnership, Corporation, etc.
  • Correct billing name and address
  • Additional insured – indicate the reason for the additional insured request
  • Payment plan – down payment due within 5 business days
  • Inspection contact name – must include contact name and phone number. Most properties are inspected.
  • Mortgage/loss payee – name and mailing address
  • Any information specifically requested by underwriting for binding
  • Signed windstorm or hail exclusion – required for all property eligible for windstorm or hail coverage through the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association.

  • Renewal policy is sent to the agency 45 days prior to renewal effective date
  • Agent to review policy and advise any needed changes prior to the renewal date
  • Renewal policy and bill will be mailed to the insured 35 days prior to the effective date


  • Submit all claims on the ACORD claim form
  • Attach “claim cover page” to all claims submitted (include copy of claim cover page)
