Positioning Your Agency Successfully on Internet Search Engines
The Internet has become the place we look first for goods and services. It is no different for consumers and businesses looking to find a new insurance provider or information from their current agent or company. The fact is the Internet is radically transforming how businesses establish their brands and market their products. Whenever a massive change like this occurs, it creates a genuine opportunity for businesses that seek to understand it and then change their strategies to take advantage of it ahead of competitors.
Protect Your Clients with Secure Email Using TLS
While using Real Time is the best option for moving sensitive client data between agents and carriers, independent agencies and carriers still must use email in certain circumstances and are in need of workflow friendly secure email solutions. Proprietary email solutions create inefficient agency workflows, require the retention of additional passwords, and require agents to go to the carrier Web site to retrieve email. Agencies and carriers are encouraged to implement a much more efficient and cost effective approach to secure email by enabling their email servers for TLS (Transport Layer Security) email encryption. This article explains how TLS works.
Real Time Campaign Leaders Offer New Years Resolutions For Agents, Business Partners
More independent insurance agents and brokers should resolve to work smarter in 2008, according to an industry coalition.
Real Time Talking Points
It is critical for agents to advocate for Real Time with their carriers-- both large and small. Also, make sure and send a letter or email to your companies' senior executives when they provide your agency with Real Time functionality. This will encourage the company to provide you with new transactions for more lines of business. The talking points will assist agencies when meeting with carrier executives or marketing representatives to press these points. Make sure to bring up these issues at agency council meetings, marketing meetings, and when you see your carriers at conventions and other events. It is important to note that several smaller carriers have implemented Real Time transactions, proving that even smaller companies can implement Real Time cost effectively.
