How the program works
- As a member of IIAT you can begin using VIP immediately
- You m ust hold a life license to receive commission
- Agencies enroll/contract for the program online at the VIP website,
www.vipinsurance.com.
Once on the VIP website:
- Select “online contracting” from the left side table of contents
- Click “Agent Registration” to create User ID, Password and PIN
- Write down your user name, password and PIN you need them later
- Once that is completed click on register. It will take you to the Main Menu
- Click on “start contracting questions”
- Read the instructions and select the carriers you want to be appointed with
- Continue answering questions and clicking the “Continue Questions” until you get to the screen saying “You Are Almost
Finished”
- You will then be asked to enter your 4 digit PIN on the next page
- The next page will ask you to authorize the submission of these documents
- You will need to click “Electronic Signature” so VIP has this information on file.
- FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS – PRINT AND FAX AS DIRECTED
DO NOT FORGET THIS STEP
- You will also need to click on the Individual License and any other required (i.e. E&O policy, direct deposit, etc)
as needed
- Agent’s professional liability insurance (E&O) $1,000,000 minimum limit required
