ACSR Examination Rules and Procedures
- Exams are CLOSED book
- Exams must be proctored by an eligible professional listed below:
(Only needs to meet one of the following qualifications)
- a properly licensed agent who has held his/her license for at least five years
- an agency owner or member of management of the agency or organization
- a person who has been in the profession of teaching insurance for at least three years
- a person who has held either the CPCU, CLU, CIC or the ACSR designation for at least three years
For a passed exam to be credited to the ACSR candidate, a proctor affidavit must be completed for that candidate and forwarded to the offices of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (see affidavit for address information).
- There is a one hour time limit for you to complete the exam. One interruption of the exam is allowed. If an exam is interrupted, you have 24 hours to finish the exam. There are 20 questions, and once you pass the last question or hit “Next” you can not go back and review your questions.
- If you do not pass the exam, contact the offices of IIAT for information on how you may try again.
- Exams for each course will be open until the 15th day of the month following the class date.
Warning! ACSR candidates are not to access examinations prior to completing the classroom course for that exam. Access prior to course completion may result in disqualification from the ACSR designation program. |
