| Texas Motor Speedway |
Three times a year, the auto racing world converges on Texas Motor Speedway, where fans watch the fastest things on four wheels. In April, NASCAR brings its show to town for the Samsung 500. Then, come June, IndyCars show their stuff at the Bombardier Learjet 550. And NASCAR returns in November with its year-ending Chase for the Cup at the Dickies 500. | Ballpark in Arlington |
On April 1, 1994, a new era for the Texas Rangers began with the opening of Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. The beautiful baseball-only facility serves as the centerpiece of a 270-acre complex which solidifies Arlington, Texas as an entertainment giant in the Southwest. This unique complex also includes a children's learning center and a four-story office building within the ballpark, and a youth baseball park, a 12-acre lake, and parks and recreation space on the perimeter. |

| Cowboys Stadium |
Dallas Cowboys legendary owner Jerry Jones long believed his team- America's Team-needed a stadium that matched the club's iconic status. His big dream is now reality. The new Cowboys Stadium opened in June 2009 just outside Fort Worth with a series of events. Located just 15 miles east, the dazzling $1.1 billion stadium will host much more than the Cowboys' eight regular NFL home games. For instance, Super Bowl XLV is scheduled for February 6, 2011.
