IMPACT and InsurPac

Why Two PACs Are Better Than One

A Political Action Committee or PAC is a group of individuals with common interests and political goals organized to provide information and financial support to candidates for elective offices. As a member of IIAT you have the option to join two PACs.

  • IMPACT is the political action committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.
  • InsurPac is the political action committee of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America created to provide information and financial support to candidates at the federal level.

You can help make a difference at both the state and national government levels by investing in both IMPACT and InsurPac. Your livelihood may depend on it.*

IMPACT InsurPac

IIAT’s state political action fund supports the campaigns of Texas legislators and state wide office holders. IIAT's grassroots program is very active statewide and this grassroots effort is dependent on IIAT's ability to raise campaign money for pro-business candidates. Your interests are heard in Austin.

  • IMPACT is involved in 181 legislative races and all statewide races.
  • Over 90 percent of IMPACT-supported candidates in the 2012 election were successful in their race.

IIABA’s national political action fund supports the campaigns of state congressional office holders. Its success has led Fortune magazine to consistently rate the IIABA as one of the most powerful and effective lobbying groups in Washington. That power rests in part on its ability to help elect candidates who support sound business practices.
