Accredited Customer Service Representative Program
More
than 4,500 agency customer service staff and owners in Texas have been awarded
the ACSR designation as part of a nationwide program managed by the Independent
Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.
- ACSR of the Year: An outstanding ACSR is chosen
each year to recognize superior achievement. The award is presented at the IIAT
convention each year. Four previous winners have also won the IIABA ACSR of the
Year Award. Nominations are solicited in
December.
- Full-day
ACSR Update classes: Innovative teaching strategies are used to broaden a
customer service representative's grasp of independent insurance agency operations
(one 6-hour class). Used by ACSR designees to meet reaccreditation requirements.
Content revised each January.
- ACSR on Demand: In an effort to meet member
needs, IIAT has developed the ACSR on Demand program to offer ACSR courses in
underserved areas.
- How the program works: How to achieve
your ACSR designation and maintain it,
benefits of ACSR, helpful facts
you need to know, course content of the coverage classes for personal
lines, commercial lines and life
and health tracks, and content of the two-day E&O
loss prevention/customer skills classes
- Honor Roll Agencies: View the names
of more than 140 IIAT members whose commitment to staff professional development
has been recognized by their designation as Honor Roll Agencies, and learn how
your agency can qualify.
