The Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT) is proud to announce that Ronda Brown of Texas Associates Insurors in Austin was named the Account Manager of the Year at IIAT’s Insurcon in Grapevine last week. This award is given annually to an account manager in Texas who exemplifies outstanding leadership and service to the independent agency system and to the public at large.

Ronda began her insurance career in 1990 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and has worked exclusively in the independent agency system since. She has been with Texas Associates Insurors for the last 18 years. In her current position, she is responsible for commercial new business marketing and placement.

Ronda has served on her agency’s E&O and social committees and was a founding member of their wellness committee. She served on the inaugural CSR Advisory Council for Service Lloyds Insurance Co. and has since served on agent councils for Texas Mutual Insurance Co., CNA Insurance Cos. and FCCI Insurance Co. Ronda holds the CIC, CRM, CISR and ACSR designations.

“Ronda is a true insurance professional. Her understanding of the industry, market relationships, coverage forms, and leadership within our agency is an unmeasurable asset,” said James Russell, a partner at Texas Associates Insurors.
