Keynote: Growth in a Time of Disruption

No sooner did we all take the Insurance Industry Disruption Survey following January’s Joe Vincent Management Seminar that our world got disrupted. Nobody could have anticipated what has happened over the past several weeks, and nobody really knows what lies around the next corner. Whatever comes our way, it’s vital that our companies be prepared—culturally and strategically—to succeed in the months and years ahead.

Join Steve McKee to see the overall results of the Insurance Industry Disruption Survey and learn how to interpret your company’s results (individual reports for those of you who took the survey will be sent directly to you following the webinar).Where do IIAT members fall compared to the economy as a whole? How do we compare to other industries? How do each of our firms compare to its peers? And what are the implications for the industry—and our individual organizations—depending upon where we fall on the cycle?

There’s never been a more important time to understand the forces of disruption, and how you can navigate them to your advantage.

What Every Agency Can Learn From Amazon

Even though Amazon's business isn't focused on P&C insurance (yet), its practices impart valuable lessons that can help your agency unlock even more success.

Amazon is one of the most successful companies in this generation. However, Amazon's success is attributed to the guiding growth principles that Bezos shares in his shareowner letters. When you learn how to implement these ideas at your agency, it can spur impressive growth and help you build your business.

Insurance industry tech expert Steve Anderson shares how to leverage the Amazon Growth Principles. These principles are detailed in his Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and international bestselling book The Bezos Letters - 14 Principles to Grow Your Business Like Amazon and will help your agency to continue to grow.

Breakout Webinars: Disrupting Disruption

You’ve seen the results. You know where you stand. And you understand that no matter where your company falls on the Disruption Cycle it’s not going to stay there forever. But you still may have more questions than answers.

In this series of webinars, Steve McKee will explore the Acceleration, Maturation, Saturation and Commoditization phases of the cycle one at a time. He’ll share the dynamics that are common to each phase, which cultural issues you should watch out for (and when), and strategic considerations to help you prolong (Acceleration) leverage (Maturation), navigate (Saturation) and avoid (Commoditization) each phase.

Attend one of the sessions or all four—it’s up to you. What’s not up to you is the relentless spin of the Disruption Cycle, nor the goose that COVID-19 has given it. But the better you get to know it, the more you can turn it to your advantage.
