Candace DeLuna of Hempkins Insurance in Allen was honored as the 2024 Account Manager of the Year at IIAT’s annual awards ceremony and business meeting. The ceremony occurred on June 21, 2024, during IIAT’s INSURCON at the JW Marriot Hill Country San Antonio.
The Account Manager of the Year award is presented annually to an account manager in Texas who demonstrates exceptional leadership and dedication to the independent agency system and their community.
Candace has been with Hempkins Insurance for 19 years. She started as a receptionist and is now a multiline account manager. “She has endured our agency’s good times and bad times, showing exceptional skills in personal relationships and account management,” said agency principal Brad Hempkins.
“It’s impossible to verbalize how meaningful Candace is for a small firm like ours. I cannot recommend her highly enough for this award," said Brad.
