ELITExas and INSURCON Attendees Build Wheelchairs for Disabled Vets

ELITExas hosted it's annual community service project at INSURCON on Thursday, June 24, at Kalahari Resort in Round Rock. INSURCON attendees participated in a Build-a-Wheelchair competition to benefit disabled veterans with mobility challenges. During the hour-and-a-half service event, participants formed teams to assemble a total of 15 wheelchairs. The wheelchairs were donated to the Disabled American Veterans, a non-profit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families. The organization helps more than a million veterans each year in positive, life-changing ways.
