The prestigious award, established in 1925 in memory of the second Big “I" president C.H. Woodworth, recognizes the outstanding contributions of an independent agent or broker to the national association, to their Big “I" colleagues, and to the insurance industry.
Harrison has worked tirelessly for his local, state and national association for more than 25 years in almost every capacity the organization can offer. Harrison has served as IIAT’s Budget and Finance Committee chairman, Board of Directors chairman and state national director, among other roles. In 1999 he was named Young Agent of the Year.
At the national association level, he is chairman of the Big “I” Reinsurance Company and former chairman of the Finance Committee and Professional Liability Committee. He was also a member of Agency Administrative Services, Inc., the Trusted Choice® Board of Directors and the Planning Committee.
