IIAT is pleased to welcome Emily McDaniel, CIC, as Vice President of IIAT Services Company.
In this role, Emily will lead IIAT’s for-profit activities, including IIAT Advantage E&O and Advantage Markets. She will focus on strengthening the products, growing market access and business solutions that enable IIAT members to meet the needs of their clients.
Emily brings more than 20 years of insurance experience working with independent agents, with the last decade in brokerage, binding, and E&S market space. Most recently, her efforts were partnering with local independent agency relationships through agency visits, industry events, ongoing communication and conducting various education classes to strengthen the independent agent channel. Her prior experience includes broker roles with large national brokers and a local independent wholesaler, where she worked across professional lines, property, casualty, inland marine, and other lines of business.
Emily has attended the IIABA legislative conference in Washington, DC, because she recognizes the importance of advocacy and legislative discussions in supporting members. Emily is also a recipient of the Rotary Foundation's Paul Harris Fellow for her service to her community. Giving back is a pillar of the independent agent, and she looks forward to making an impact in Texas in this role.
