Texas Department of Insurance has approved NCCI Item 01‑TX‑2025, which converts many Texas‑specific workers’ compensation classifications and phraseologies to multistate codes, updates the hazard group table and dispute‑resolution rules, and replaces the Alternate Employer Endorsement with a new WC 00 03 01 A form; most accounts should see little or no premium impact, with changes applying to new and renewal policies effective on or after July 1, 2027.
NCCI indicates the overall premium impact should be negligible statewide, although some risks currently in class 3114 may see increases as those operations move into newly established multistate classes, while most others should see decreases or no change.
