The Texas Department of Insurance has apprved the Texas FAIR Plan Association’s rate changes. The changes resulted in statewide average rate decreases for homeowners, condominium, and tenants policies, and an increase for dwelling policies. The approved rates are effective for new business and renewals on September 1, 2026.
