Big "I" Legislative Day connects IIAT members with their legislators during the biennial session. The special one-day event features a briefing session, meetings with legislators and a legislative lunch.

9:45 – 10:30 a.m	Travel to Capitol from Renaissance Hotel Buses leave from the Renaissance Austin Hotel and will return to the hotel after lunch. *LIMITED parking is available at the state parking garage located at the corner of 12th and San Jacinto.
10:30 – 11:30 a.m.	Briefing Session IIAT's governmental affairs team will brief members on top insurance issues most likely to be addressed during this upcoming session. Handout materials will be available at the briefing.	Texas Capitol/ Room E2.036
11:30 a.m. – noon	Meet With Your Legislators Here is your chance to meet with your legislator face-to-face and let them know where you stand on key legislative issues. Look-up your legislator.	Texas Capitol
noon – 1:30 p.m.	BBQ Luncheon Invite your legislator to attend the luncheon as IIAT's guest.	IIAT Office 1115 San Jacinto
1:30 – 3 p.m.	Meet With Your Legislators Continue with face-to-face office visits.	Texas Capitol
1:30 – 3:30 p.m	Buses Return to the Renaissance Hotel
