Debbie Johnson of Keetch & Associates Insurance Receives Account Manager of the Year Award

Debbie Johnson of Keetch & Associates Insurance, in Corpus Christi, was named the 2023 Account Manager of the Year at IIAT’s annual awards ceremony and business meeting. The annual ceremony took place on June 23, 2023, during IIAT’s INSURCON, at the JW Marriot Hill Country San Antonio. The Account Manager of the Year award is given annually to an account manager in Texas who exemplifies outstanding leadership and service to the independent agency system and his or her community.

Debbie has been a Commercial Lines Account Manager for more than 35 years. She is dedicated to taking care of her clients and is a trusted resource due to her deep knowledge of Windstorm, Flood and Coastal property coverage. According to colleagues, Johnson has a talent for developing long-term relationships with clients, which drives client retention and referral business for her agency. “She is a consummate professional who is fantastic with insureds and carriers alike,” said Mark Ray, VP of Higginbotham Insurance in Corpus Christi.

Debbie is deeply involved with the Insurance Associates of Corpus Christi (IACC) and has served on nearly every board at that association, including a five-year term as president. Additionally, Debbie was the executive director for Independent Insurance Agents of the Coastal Bend and is an officer on the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas’ (FIWT) Executive Board.

“She is dedicated to exceeding the needs of her clients. Her clients, her producers and her employer have complete confidence in her performance on their behalf,” said FIWT Past President JoAnna M. Ringel, VP and underwriter at AmWINS Access Insurance Services. “Debbie is a true leader in any role that she takes on,” she said.
