Drew Brown of TexCap Insurance Receives André P. Juneau ELITExan of the Year Award

Drew Brown of TexCap Insurance, in Dallas, was named the André P. Juneau ELITExan of the Year at IIAT’s annual awards ceremony and business meeting. The ceremony took place on June 23, 2023, during IIAT’s INSURCON at the JW Marriott Hill Country San Antonio.

The André P. Juneau ELITExan of the Year award is given annually to a young insurance professional in Texas who has achieved success through hard work, community engagement and industry participation in a manner that is considered exceptional for a person of his or her age.

Drew Brown, CIC, is the Co-President and Chief Operating Officer for TexCap Insurance in Dallas. Brown is jointly responsible for the management of and strategy for all of the organization’s practices. He also oversees TexCap’s operations team and the day-to-day workings of the agency. In addition to his leadership role, Brown advises his business insurance clientele.

Brown graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, majoring in Business Honors and Finance. In July 2010, he joined the TexCap Insurance family. Brown served as the 2021 President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD) and serves on IIAT’s ELITExas young agent council. He and his wife, Kelley, live in Dallas with their three children. They are active members of Park Cities Baptist Church.
